Allison has been part of healthcare and pathology for more than 23 years and has a uniquely in-depth view having worked across pharmaceuticals, Diabetes care and diagnostics, as well as now leading an ASX listed company. Her career has taken her to four countries, UK, Canada, USA and Australia and she has been fortunate to work in all areas from product design and development through to government relations and sales. Ali holds a BSc (hons) Computing & Informatics from the university of Plymouth UK, is a graduate from Oxford Said Business School, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Young Presidents Organization.
Ali is passionate about three things - being curious, being courageous and being authentic!
She is married with three sons and a dog, and she loves keeping fit and ballet dancing.
Enterprise Solutions Director, Abbott Core Diagnostics in Australia & New Zealand
Novak has over 25 years’ experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical and pathology industries. She currently is the Enterprise Solutions Director for the Core Diagnostics business at Abbott ANZ and over the past years has held numerous senior leadership positions managing teams across ANZ and Asia. Novak’s significant experience as a senior business leader in ANZ across many health industries means she has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by the industry in Australia as well as the region. Novak’s industry experience means she is passionate about the critical role of pathology in supporting patient outcomes and the healthcare system more generally.
Head of Finance and Operations Roche Diagnostics
Fabian is currently the Head of Finance and Operations at Roche Diagnostics Australia. During his 12 years’ experience in the Healthcare industry he held several positions in Global, Regional and Country functions in both Australia and Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG in Switzerland and Germany where he started his career in financial audit and consulting.
Fabian holds a MBA from the University of Cologne (Germany). He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM) from the Institute of Management Accountants, Montvale, New Jersey (USA), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from New Hampshire (USA).
Head of Sales Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc
Simon Giuliano completed an MBA at RMIT University and holds a PhD from Monash University where he investigated the molecular mechanisms of thrombosis and hemostasis. He held a post-doctoral scientist position at the Australian Center for Blood diseases before embarking on his commercial career in 2003.
Since then he worked for several years at Sigma-Aldrich where he held a number of sales and marketing roles including product management, business development and sales management. He headed up the Molecular Diagnostic business unit at Diagnostic Solutions, before joining illumina where he led leading the commercial department for Oceania for 13 years. He is currently Head of Sales for Asia-Pacific at Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
Simon is passionate about the important role that genomics plays in advancing human health and is especially interested in driving the integration of genomics into the healthcare system.
Commercial Manager - Pacific, Director, Bio-Rad
Jeremy is the Commercial Manager for Bio-Rad in the Pacific region and Company Director. He has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years including Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Genomics, and Clinical, Cancer and Molecular Diagnostics. He has led teams across ANZ and South East Asia. Through his career he has held senior Sales, Marketing and General Managers roles. He holds an MBA from AIB.
Associate Director and Leader of Large National Initiatives, APAC, Middles East and Africa at Illumina
Amongst Helen’s responsibilities are directing strategic partnerships and managing a team dedicated to advancing the uptake of genomic technologies for precision healthcare – including Phase II of Singapore’s PRCISE program. Prior to this Helen served as Deputy Director at the Ramaciotti Centre for Genomics at the University of NSW.

Kensi brings a rich experience from a varied background in healthcare – from R&D to startups and on to multi-nationals. This experience has given Kensi strong business development instincts, patient and customer focus and strategic focus on advocacy for cutting edge technology led solutions.
